Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Good location, good breakfast
Negative: No heat in the rooms (it was cold the nights I stayed) and possible scammer employees. For context. I got multiple scam messages related to this reservation both via WhatsApp and via email leading up to my stay. Since neither Greenside or Booking.com seemed bothered by this, I just thought it was an unfortunate situation. Fast forward to my stay, there was a night the WiFi was out and I used an employees hotspot to make a final payment for my upcoming safari. That safari had a very specific payment link. The following day, I received an email from that payment company saying that I had paid the Greenside the amount of my room that I had already paid for. Not only that, but this notification came through an email that I hadn’t even used for the reservation. I have no choice but you believe a Greenside employee (or employees) attempted to steal my information. Luckily, my card and the payment website rejected the charge, but it was unsettling.
Summary: Ok Hotel, but beware of possible scammer employees.
